PERFORMANCE!!

Surgery.

Before I got my tonsils out. :D

I had to wear a gown w/ NOTHING underneath..

well I did get to ear my underwear, thank goodness.

For my surgery I couldnt have:

Nail polish, jewelry, make-up, contax, ..ect.

And before my surgery they made me pee in a cup, and I had to get an IV.

The IV was the worst part..

They first tried putting it in my left arm first and 'apparently' my veins were to small and they wiggled a lot so they had to try and put it in my other arm, and it luckily worked...

It hurt so bad, I cried.

And there it is.. :/

So the doctor comes and gets me and takes me to the O.R. and he gets me all situated on the bed and ready for surgery and I am laying there and he asks me....

"So are you ready to tell me a joke"

I reply, "No I dont know any jokes"

he says, "if you dont know any jokes then were just gonna have to do the surgery while you are awake.."

Then my arm starts to really hurt and get super pained. (IV)

I go, "Well I am sorry I dont know any jokes, I am not good at telling them"

Then he says, "Its okay, have a nice nap and take deep breaths"..

Then I was out and the surgery began.

My note states:

Please understand my reasons for not speaking today. I am participating in the National Day of Silence, a youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, adn transgender people and their allies in schools. My deliberate silence echoes that silence, which is caused by harassment, prejudice, and discrimination. I believe that ending the silence is the first step toward fighting these injustices.

It is a special day to support individuals who are scared to tell their friends and family how they feel inside. They are forced to be silent out of fear. Today we are their champions and allies... Today we are their voice.

I wore this today at school around my neck in supporting the National Day of Silence.

In the picture, notice there is some purple tape with the words "Support LOVE" writin upon it, I proudly wore that tape across my mouth today and didn't utter a word.

Even though I support all of this... My orientation is still and always will be Straight.

My First Dance: Homecoming.
It was so much fun...
Brief explanation of my day
Nick picked me up for the day date, which was at The Sports Academy and we were there for a few hours it was a lot of fun.
After that Nick brought me home and I started getting ready for the dance.
I had a little under two hours to get ready.. and this is where the disaster began! So the lady that told me she would curl my hair for the dance was in Boise! AHH! No way.. this can't be happening.
Yeah I was so pissed.
And to top it off my mom wasn't even home.. ugghhh disaster!
So I had my little sister Mariah attempt to curl my hair. But thing is I never curl my hair so I am very hard to please with anyone curling my hair. So she hurried and curled it... and I just absolutely hated it! I felt bad because she tried her best but I just didn't love it..
So I hurried and washed my hair and blow dried it, straightened it, threw my make up on in all of twenty minutes!
O-M-G.
So I hurried and threw my dress on because it was only a matter of minutes before Nick came to pick me up! So I put my dress on and then remembered I had to pin my shoulder straps because they were a tad bit to large and I didnt wanna "fall out" all night... hahaha.
So I got the pins and of course I couldnt pin it myself and my mother wasn't home so I called over my neighbor and she ran over and helped me... Ahhhhh thank you Tammy.
And right as she finishes pinning me Nick arrives.. Perfect Timing!
We took pictures, then had to stop at his house for more pictures.
Then we went to dinner.. took more pictures.
Then we went to the dance and had MORE PICTURES taken..
then we finally danced! -- SO FUN.. :)
Then after the dance we headed up to my friends house and we watched a movie.
Movie ended and Nick took me home and I got in the door barely before 2 a.m.
What a night. :D

Thee Family at the infamous Lake of Bearr {BearrrLakee} hOllllA. I gotta admit it wasn't as big as a drag as I thought it was going to be. But we all got pretty fried, but it was way to cold to swim if you ask me but then again im not much of a swimmer. Eww to water. I just liked to watch all the cute little babies eat sand, haa. Ahh The Griffin side of the family is a hooot. OH!! And on the way up there Me and Tiara got to ride up with my Grandma 'Shell, and she just bought a Charger!! Okay it is the sweeeetest car ever. We called it the "pimp-mobile" :) gotta admit, I felt fly. And ofcoursee 'Gramz pimped it out the whole time! -- Yayy Bearrr Lake, I hope I never have to go back till next yearr.. Once a year is enough, fun or not. Ha.

HERE WE GO!

Ahhhhhh, Vistaun Camp. It was actually at the first of June but I was just looking through all my photos and I saw these and I laughed hysterically so I had to post themm..

So we had just been practicing our dances outside in the rain and it was freezing cold!! And so us four "spooner girls" ran inside and hopped in our bed and we spooned. Haaha! So its Jacqi, Me, Jordyn, and Mickelle.

Thatss all im going to post of those picturess.. but i'll just briefly let ya'll know what went down at camp. First off the whole team went so 25 girls and two crazy insane coaches were cooped up in one cabin.. and it honestly was the time of our lives. I wish I had more pictures but I dont.. So, Camp was at Bear Lake.. and we worked so hard.

We learned five dances:

-Don't Stop The Music

-Bring Em' Out

-Taylor Made

-Dance Like There's No Tomorrow

-Feedback.

And we learned them on this little patch of lawn in front of the cabin, and the saddest part of all.. It rained all three days that we were there!! So we all froze! But it was so worth it.

And a little bit about our coaches.. Gahh I just love them, they are crazy. They are definitely not your average drill team coaches.. There only strict when they need to be, but they end up laughing when they try to be strict so were constantly having a good time. They're two of my favorite people ever! There amazing. && they know there stuff, so Sky View Vistauns are actually going to win this year so all you other drill teams best be watching out cause were definitely bringin' it on this year. So umm, hOlllllA/ :)

And one little thing that I will always remember about camp and our coaches is.. that we went SKINNNY DIPPING !!!!! ahhhhhh. Funniest part of all, is we were all going to sneak out and run two miles to Bear Lake.. but our coaches caught on to what we were planning and they offered to take us! Helllo cool coaches I tell yaa. :) so they took a Van and a Car, and we squeezed in 25 girls & two coaches! I can't even imagine how bad it woulda been if we woulda go pulled over. Hahaa. So. We they dropped us off and our coaches stayed in there cars and we ran to the water, we got down there and we broke out our glow sticks so we could all make sure we wouldnt run into each other or that no one would drown, and we each held hands with another girl, whom was our "water buddy". And my buddy was my bfff Jacqi. So we all put on our glow sticks stripped down put our towls on stood in a circle did our Vistuan Cheer and dropped our towls on three, grabbed our buddy's hand and ran full speed into the water!! If any one walked by then they got the chance of seeing 25 white bums running full speed into the water, which was so cold i might add.. and none of us could breath, we got out to as deep as our chests and we turned around and ran back to shore where we proceeded to run around before grabbing our clothes or towels.. Yeeeah i'd definitly say we do some crazy things because all of us are so extremely out going!

Ahhh how much I love my team.. :)

OPEEE, one last story!

Okayy, so me and like eight other girls got our bakinis on ( and it had to have been almost midnight ) and we grabbed a bunch of tampons and tied them to our fingers and got them wet and ran around whipping people!! Hahaha! We called ourselves "The Bakini Bandits" - We were laughing hystericallly. It was so much fun.. ahhh I died from laughter.

Okayy, so we've got starting in the back left corner.. Mattayya, Celessste, Tawnii, and Alixx.. and in the front row its, Jacqiiii, Jordynnn, Kesleyy, && meee. (Yess those be our tampons and aplicators.. who knew they had more than one use! Hahha)

So since i'm always talking about myself I figured I might as well talk a little bit about my best friend, not to mention my boyfriend - Landon S. - He is such a crazzzy, me and him do the dumbest stuff when were together. He's quite athletic. He was on our Freshman Football, Basketball, & Baseball team, and he is an amazing skiier.. and me? Yeah, I suck at snowboarding so that doesn't happen very often that I go with him up to the mountain. Ha ha. Lets see what else.. Umm. OH!! He has a dirt bike, he calls it a Motorcycle but its definitely a dirt bike - so whatever we always fight on that one. Ha haa. But oh my goodness, that thing is such a rush! Hah ahh. Oh my if you could only see me on that! All I do is hold on for life, and scream. He laughs, but I feel as if im going to die.. -- hmmm, welll not exactly what else to say but we've been together for six & a half months (since January 15th) and things are still going pretty goood, yeah summer has been tough.. but schools about to start so hopefully things will get easier.. We'll seee. I'll keep ya'll posted. Ha aha.

The whole family went and of course Landon had to come too. So Me, Landon, Mariah, and her friend Ashlee hung out together the whole time in the "big pool" it was fun.. Except they all decided to gang up on me and dunk me a million and a half times, and they were always stealing ma pimp glasses. Sheeeeesh. [[[ Thriller was a Broadyway Show that i auditioned for in October, and made it.. we performed the weekend before Halloween at Ellen Eccles Theatre. This Broadway was produced by Oddessey Dance Theatre -- There amazing!! -- The show was quite amazing its self. i mean who wouldnt want to dress up like a zombie and walk around the theatre scaring people, and not to mention the children that were there.. but to go you had to be above a certain age because it was quite the Thrill, hence the name Thriller :) haha. The song i danced to was the very last number, Thriller by Michael Jackson - woooot!!! Definitely the time of my life!! ]]]
